Why mindfulness?

Mindfulness is the simple practice of bringing your awareness to the present moment, on purpose, non-judgmentally. In the midst of stress and busyness, we suddenly notice: “Oh yes, I’m here. My back hurts. I need to stretch.” Mindfulness is a moment of self-remembering. And that in itself is healing and calming.
